This post doesn’t directly discuss VSee, video conferencing, collaboration, tips, etc.
However, I’d like to help two organizations out that are both sending people to Haiti to help with the crisis: Partners in Health and HELP (Humanitarian Emergency Logistics & Preparedness), who we mentioned in a post yesterday and will be featuring in a few pieces in the days to come.
Regarding Partners in Health, I will simply reprint the following from one of our own:
Dear all,
You may have heard about the very serious earthquake in Haiti. If not, here’s a recent BBC article:

If you’re looking to help financially, Partners in Health is an excellent group I know of and can vouch for. They have been working throughout Haiti for many years. As you can tell from the email below, they have the capacity to offer very relevant and immediate assistance. The founder of PIH, Paul Farmer, is one of the most inspiring characters I’ve read about.

I won’t reprint the forwarded material because I’d also like to point out that HELP is also a nonprofit reliant upon donations and we know Randy will be traveling into Haiti in a couple days with a surgeon, an ER doc, and a satellite link up. One of the things delaying them is spending a few extra days for a little extra fundraising. You can find their story here.
Please help these two organizations, or whatever groups you can.
