Description:
You will be working on a project part-time/full-time on a contract basis, with the opportunity of full-time employment afterward. The ideal candidate would be proficient in the design and implementation of modern web applications.
Requirements:
– Solid computer science fundamentals
– Exceptional coding skills in Server Side Java or Groovy on Grails, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
– Knowledge of database design and SQL
– Experience developing web back-ends and/or front-ends (both would be a plus)
– Familiarity with web standards, browser compatibility
– Great communication, teamwork and documentation skills
Bonus points:
– Good eye for user-friendly design
– Knowledge of major web technologies like HTTP, SSL, OAuth, OpenID, Microformats, etc.
– Experience designing and implementing near-realtime data aggregation systems for business intelligence
– Familiarity with charting libraries (client side or server side)
– A passion for clean, testable, well documented code
– Experience with version control, continuous integration, automated testing and automated deployment
– Experience scaling web apps to millions of users
