I am a project lead for a small RF transceiver company called NanoAmp Solutions. We have half of the team members in Santa Clara, California and the other half of the team members in Shanghai, China. To be able to successfully design and integrate complex integrated circuits with this team arrangement requires close communication between all team members. We need to be able to reliably & securely share desktop documents and the desktop itself, along with being provided with good quality audio and video streams.
That’s where VSee came to the rescue. My colleague Eric Chen mentioned that he is aware of a product that provides all of the functionality that we require that is both reliable & secure. So I subsequently downloaded the VSee application from the VSee website and tried it out for one of our late evening/early morning Santa Clara/Shanghai team meetings. VSee worked great. We were able to not only say hello to each other via the video stream, but were able to discuss detailed technical issues by being able to interactively draw on a shared document or desktop (which really helps to get the point of the discussion across between the team). So we’ve been using VSee ever since for the past year and a half, both to support full team meetings and for individual one-to-one team member communication.
I’ve used other products such as NetMeeting in the past, but VSee seems to be more stable with practically all of the features that matter … and you can’t beat the price.
