Here I was, taking a break from blogging to get some other high-priority work done, and then I read about Matthew “Lindy” Lindenmuth, entrepreneur, business owner, business student (and future law student), former professional inline skater and world-class snowboarder.
He may not be in the Olympics, but this guy’s done the X Games and many other major extreme sport events. Here’s the kicker though:
He currently lives in Kurtztown, PA, where he’s earning a business and marketing degree. He helps run a snowboard business he co-founded located in Rialto, CA. They even have their own manufacturing plant.
How does one work on their degree in Kurtztown (where he’s from originally) and then prep for law school in Virginia while operating a business in California?
“Modern technology and the ability to do videoconferencing allows me to work through the process of completing projects,” Lindenmuth said. “It’s almost easier this way.” (quoted from this article in ReadingEagle.com)
That last sentence sums up how I feel about this industry: “It’s almost easier this way.”
