Captain: Milton
First Mate: Linda
Crew: Eric, Willow, Christina, Julio, Pauline, Albert, Rishi
The VSee team in the bay area went for the annual VSee wake-boarding trip at Lake Don Pedro over the past weekend. Pauline even flew in specially from France to join us! Kudos to her for braving the jet lag and being spontaneous with all our activities 🙂 We rented a 59″ Deluxe boat house, as well as a ski boat, and enjoyed the weekend with lots of water sports, such as wake-boarding, kneeboarding, tubing, and much more!
The following is reposted from Pauline’s notes in our journal:
Day 1
Beginners tried wake-boarding but couldn’t get up (Christina & Pauline). Eric, Milton and Julio made wake-boarding look very easy when getting up on the first time, doing jumps, and so on.
Linda, Albert & Rishi joined the crew in the morning and brought lunch. They went wake-boarding right away. Julio & Pauline went to discover the island, and saved it by collecting the trash on it.The newest crew member all went on the boat to wakeboard, except Linda who forgot to put on her wet suit. Willow and Pauline stayed on the houseboat and swam.
The team got back, and the guys – Julio, Eric & Rishi – tried the water slides. We had a great lunch – sandwich with ice cream. Everything went well until Julio at chips right after having his ice cream: Yucks! Also, Milton was eager to get back on the boat, but Rishi was a party-pooper and wanted to take a nap. Julio decided to make him coffee so that he would wake up!
Then, while drinking the coffee, Rishi started playing the guitar and said he was feeling, “much better.” He finally decided to join us, but complained that he couldn’t have his “trip shot cream-latte-mocha coffee”. He did bring his “simple” coffee on the boat though.
The VSee crew spent all afternoon on the boat doing tube, kneeboard, and swimming. Linda is an amazing swimmer, she swam around the island!
Most of the team went back to the houseboat at around 7pm, except Milton, Rishi & Eric. The ones on the houseboat started the appetizer and cooking. There’s a fancy gourmet meal ahead!
Rishi is always complaining and whining, and the team has to motivate him to do something. After doing the tube, Rishi bragged about it and said, “it was a piece of cake!” That must have been the quote of the day 🙂
And here’s another classic quote from Rishi at the end of the trip, “Why do we have to hurt ourselves in such a beautiful, calm place?”
That said, we all had fun during our short vacation, despite being physically exhausted by the end of it.
We’ll update more with photos in our subsequent posts! 🙂

“Ow my everything” – that sums up what I felt like driving home Sunday night. But all the bruises (still finding new ones as of tonight), sore muscles, whiplash, and sun burn was worth it!
I agree !! The pain was way worth it !
And I just want to add: Rishi, I am not responsible for this online content !!!!! XD
